a trip to the museum

i've donated a painting to the broward historical museum
the painting began during my live painting exhibition @ the building's ground breaking in early February.

this is a photo of that:

this is a link to the video
of that event

when this was over, i went back into the studio @ sailboat bend artist's lofts, a building located adjacent to the museum, and continued on the work ... the canvas became the fulfillment of a certain style that had developed while living and working in these lofts.

i completed the canvas @ the North Carolina Retreat in mid-April. i will be posting in a few days the final synopsis of this work.

could be the last time

today i painted like it was the last time

there is no other way to be. to live the day as it's the last. we've heard this before

but i'm here to reiterate it. and furthermore, im here to reiterate that beauty is the only thing there is. and pain ought never be. and the real world has no pain.
and i see and live in the real world

my life is a poem. each and every sparkle, and i no longer will ignore it, deny it, or feel ashamed about it

it's a tragedy to see otherwise.

love who ever you can, there really isn't much more

purvis young famed folk artist from overtown (miami) passed away yesterday. i had the privilege to work with this man in 2006. and despite all the controversy (and perhaps now all the awful smirks) by sick collectors seeing $$ signs, i want to say that this man was an artist, and a human, and the plight he endured, the scum who took advantage, faith shall reign ... as for the rest, i shall leave judgment for the maker

it's good

moche and the grass

'nother glorious day with the spring sun on my skin
schemantics and schematics .. day of dotting the "i" 's
gallery, museum actions
check the site as i did some updating today

the glory is, the tension builds for poetic boom just down the lane ...

horses and heaven

the hills and high ways

tears of experience
echo.

more butterflies than words

shock of light (hesitation)

what can i do to educate you?

patiently we sit as love chances drift

and love chances still resound

going to california

highway 64

when my family took a trip to california; i must of been twelve
my bother, jon, sighed after a freakishly filled day in LA, that it was "another boring day ..."

i guffaw even now as i remember ....

today was not one of those days. in fact, it cant be, not when the simplest of things bring me pleasure ...

the new painting, the 9' x 3' 3" one that's going in the Broward Historical Museum is nearly complete. There's going to be a ceremony on May 4th commemorating the delivery.

the good part about it is, i will be writing to explain it ...

(i started the piece @ the live painting event during the museum's opening)

i spent the day east of asheville working, there's a make shift studio here, the laptop is set up.

another day (in sal paradiSe)

yes it's true, i've gotten to the point now, where everything is joy

oh yeah i was walking around asheville and showed up in front of the civic center, guy gifted me a ticket for a Ween concert that was happening.
never really heard of the stuff this outfit plays
the show was really good, though

two folks i met

there is symbolism here, But on the lighter note I love birds, and i don't hurt cause they're caged,
the sounds are exquisite, The deep meaning ... Black and Blue is caged

and of course the fish ... which reminds me of so much, including when someone told me to do something (cause i was in the pits)
so i bought a fish tank, and i got these clown loaches that lived forever
and then i started painting

the road, spring 2010, Appalachia

hello friends. i've taken to the back country,
excursions beyond the average,
exposing passions, as this universe expands before our eyes ...

the south florida studio is gone for now,
my sights set north

of course there will be more shows
more concerts
more ballyhoo

other notes:
the second published novel is in FULL swing development
if you see it a goal, you CAN delve into the original published work
@ http://www.jeremysprophecy.com

this here (this life i have) is for everybody,
my choices are simply the best way for me to be with you,
and you to be with me

perhaps you might find pleasure in journeying with me,
as i reveal what's discovered?

perhaps you may even find it exciting to throw some manna this way?
in truth supporting arts supports the ability to experience beauty, peace, the stuff of life ... (but you know this) click here

im very excited about the new novel
a real RADICAL romp of WORDs

the new 10 x 5 ft color narrative painting, the one that the museum will be accepting, is nearly finished. excitingly, the piece will be accompanied by a detailed explanation exposing the utter nuance of the endeavor, its meaning personally, globally, and spiritually ... so peruse for that in the coming weeks ...

wishing you a fine week .... be on the lookout, (mountain)
